The City of Holtville has now implemented an
Assistance Program for Low-Income Seniors residing within City
limits. The City Council adopted a Resolution to allow a 20%
discount on water and wastewater charges. The program applies to
single-family residences meeting specific eligibility requirements.

•Income levels to qualify a
household are those commonly used for other programs such as the
First Time Home Buyer Program, the CDBG Program and the Federal HOME
Program. These limits are updated annually by the State of
California.
•Applicants must be at least 62
years of age.
•Qualifying applicants must utilize conservation
methods. Households must use less than 5,000 gallons of water a
month.
