"WE TIP" was founded in February 1972 as a citizen's self-help group to
eliminate drug dealers and quickly expanded to take information on all
major crimes. The success of the program is due to the involvement of
the community and the individuals ready to take their community's back
from the criminals. WE TIP offers rewards of up to $1,000 when
information received leads to the arrest and conviction of an
individual.
