 WE TIP HOTLINE

"WE TIP" was founded in February 1972 as a citizen's self-help group to eliminate drug dealers and quickly expanded to take information on all major crimes. The success of the program is due to the involvement of the community and the individuals ready to take their community's back from the criminals. WE TIP offers rewards of up to $1,000 when information received leads to the arrest and conviction of an individual.

~If you have information about violence directed against someone because of their race, gender, origin, religion or sexual orientation call the hotline and report this hate crime.

~Help the fight against drugs, gang activity, robbery, vandalism, violence and weapons in school campuses. Schools are learning places and students should feel safe there.

~You can call the “WE TIP” hotline to report a crime or if you hear that a crime will be taking place. Be aware and alert. This is a serious crime and needs to be reported.

The "WE TIP" hotline is available to report any type of crime in an anonymous way, toll-free and available 24 hours/day.  Professional bilingual hotline operators are also available to receive tips. Most importantly all calls all anonymous and no names are ever given. There are different information lines available to report different crimes. Following is a list of those numbers.

1-800-78-CRIME

1-800-47-DRUGS

“WE TIP” is committed to excellence and winning your trust.
