Laura Fischer has served as Holtville's City Manager since December 2005.  She has more than eleven years of experience in municipal government.  Laura is a native of Holtville graduating from Holtville High School.  Laura continued her education at Imperial Valley College before earning her Bachelor of Business Administration at National University in 2000 and her Master of Science degree in Business Administration from San Diego State University in 2002.

Laura and her husband Bob live in Holtville and have five children and six grandchildren.
