The Holtville City Council is seeking (2) local residents to serve as the City's representatives to the Imperial Valley Housing Authority.
"The Imperial Valley Housing Authority delivers high quality affordable housing solutions and promotes self-sufficiency for low-income residents of Imperial County."
You may attach a resume or any additional information which you feel will assist the Council in their selection. The application should be typed or clearly printed and filed with the City Clerk at City Hall, 121 W. Fifth Street, Holtville.
Deadline to submit application is Friday, June 14, 2024, at 5:00 p.m.
The City Clerk's Responsibilities
Coordinate the programs and activities of the City Clerk's Office.
Record and preserve the actions of the City Council/Redevelopment Agency.
Safeguard all vital, permanent and historic records of the City.
Oversee and manage the City-wide records management program.
Coordinate municipal elections.
Provide information and support to the councils/committees/agencies, departments and the general public.
The City Clerk is appointed and receives administrative direction from the City Manager.

The City Clerk facilitates the legislative policymaking process, records and validates the proceedings of the City Council, provides for timely and thorough access to public records, conducts City elections and carries out the responsibilities mandated by the Fair Political Practices Act.
